Yes, the UV-9R Pro is rated IP68. This means it is dust-tight and can withstand immersion in water (typically up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes), making it far more durable than standard radios.
How can I program all 20 radios quickly?
This bundle includes a programming cable. You can use software like CHIRP to set up your channels on one radio, save the configuration file (image), and then quickly upload that same file to the other 19 radios via the cable.
Can I use my UV-5R accessories with this?
No. The UV-9R Pro uses a special multi-pin waterproof connector to maintain its IP68 rating. Standard 2-pin K1 accessories used on the UV-5R will not fit.
