Yes. To transmit, you need a valid UK Amateur Radio (Ham) Licence or a Business Radio Licence. It is illegal to use these on license-free PMR446 channels.

❓ Can I program both radios easily?

Yes. The Bluetooth OLA App allows you to program one radio and "Clone" the settings to the second radio wirelessly.

You can also use CHIRP or CPS Software on PC. Note: PC programming requires the Official Baofeng Programming Cable (sold separately).

    opened box impressed with size layout and looks of radio. took out of box nice weight fits and feels good in my hand. operation of radio was easy set up in a few minutes. transmission distance on the original antenna so far about 8 mile with a little background noise, whip antenna same distance with no background noise. stubby antenna not yet tested. Bluetooth set up took a while to figure out setting up the app and programming with in the app. overall nice radio feels well built fits good in hand excellent radio and excellent value for money, I would recommend this radio.
