Yes. To transmit, you need a valid UK Amateur Radio (Ham) Licence or a Business Radio Licence. It is illegal to use these on license-free PMR446 channels.

❓ Can I program all 10 radios easily?
Yes. You can program one "Master" radio and use the wireless "One Touch Search" copy function to clone the settings to the other nine radios in seconds.
You can also use CHIRP or CPS Software on PC. Note: PC programming requires the Official Baofeng Programming Cable (sold separately).
❓ How do I program with Bluetooth?
Wireless Bluetooth Programming: To program wirelessly via your phone, you can buy the Baofeng BT-A1D Wireless Bluetooth Adapter separately. This connects to the UV-5RH and works with the official OLA App.
