Q: Can I use any brand of camping canister for this?

A: Yes! As long as it is a standard threaded backpacking canister with an EN417 Lindal Valve (the short, squatty canisters with a domed top and screw thread). Standard outdoor brand canisters work perfectly.

Q: Will this work with the tall, heavy-duty 1lb green camping bottles?

A: Out of the box, no. Those use a different valve type meant for heavy car-camping setups. However, the FMS-300T will work with those bottles if you purchase a separate threaded adapter.

Q: How fast does it boil water?

A: Under normal conditions, the 2600W output can boil 1 Liter of water in approximately 3 minutes and 50 seconds. Pro Tip: Using this with Fire-Maple heat-exchanger cookware can increase efficiency by up to 30%!
